John is the Managing Director & Partner of align5 and CEO of Scaling Up Coaches. With over 25 years of experience as a CEO, entrepreneur, and investment banker, John co-founded align5 in 2013 to advise growth company entrepreneurs and family enterprises on a variety of strategic issues including sell-side & buy-side M&A.
Kristin Kopp
Chief of Staff
Kristin Kopp serves as Chief of Staff for align5 and Full Circle. In this role she works alongside John Ratliff on several key initiatives in the align5 brand including the Full Circle mastermind, the Exit Strategy Retreat events (held at The Retreat in Marathon, Florida) and as part of the deal team for advisory clients.
Emily Ratliff
Marketing Manager
Emily develops strategy and manages social media for Full Circle and align5. She has also provided specialized coaching and consulting in all aspects of Human Resources, company culture initiatives, and the Dream On Program for align5, along with HR at John's previous company, Appletree Answers.

Pat Taggart leads align5 films, our video storytelling division. An award-winning documentary filmmaker, Pat believes that every company has a unique story to tell, and doing so via video is the most impactful way to attract and retain customers and employees that perfectly fit your brand.
Joe Balcom
Community Manager & Content Creator
In his role with Full Circle and align5, Joe works alongside John and the team to build our vision for a world-class Mastermind community of entrepreneurs and business owners. And as an experienced content creator, he believes that the elegantly written word is the backbone of any successful venture.
